About This Website

In July of 2007 we began living fulltime in our motorhome with the intention of exploring America while we search for the setting for the next chapter in our lives.

The purpose of this website is to keep family, friends, and curious others updated on our location, activities, thoughts, and experiences. We hope you'll accompany us on our journey and enjoy following along by browsing through these pages.

Our blog --  The RV Sabbatical Journal -- chronicles our travels and adventures with regular posts every few days. I hope you'll check in once in a while and read about what we're up to.

What words do in our blog, pictures do in our online Photo Gallery. The most recent albums are right at the top. Click in once in a while to see what we're up to.

And our Location and Maps page provides information about our current location as well as a graphic record of our historic travels.

This "What's New" will cover the entire 3 day holiday weekend as I'm going to take a break from the website for a few days.

Dar has pretty much completed her painting job down at Mom & Dad Hoch's house. Aside from a couple small details she finished yesterday and it looks great.

On Thursday evening we joined my sister and brother-in-law, Jan & Dave, as we reconvened on the deck of a local restaurant for our weekly "let's get the weekend started" shindig. We met about 5pm and they almost had to kick us out at 9pm.

Tomorrow, July 4, we're going to my brother Jerry's and sister-in-law Debbie's place for a Holiday family get-together. Sunday, nothing's planned. I think I'll grill something and just enjoy the day.

Hope you're well...
